Okay and clean but not luxury neither memorable stay

Our ambassador suite was nice but not really to the level being an ambassador suite. It’s more of nice superior room than being a suite

Some of the staff members were rude. Breakfast is not tasty neither having nice lighting areas. The room service is very poor

The hotel staff are very friendly and handle all requests with professionalism. The hotel is well located. Many choice for restaurants in the hotel and in the area arround.

A little noise coming from the toilet fan that cannot be turned off (not too serious).

Meeted or exceeded expectations

The only drawback was the check in process. Three people (stations) and you have to fill out a paper with all of your information, passport, etc. Then be sent to a cashier. I would think anyone of the reception folks should be able to run your credit card. Something to improve on, otherwise love this hotel! Thank You,

Reasonable hotel.

There is a gym. The bed was comfy. There was plenty of hot water.

The rooms photos are very flattering. The breakfast is somewhat over priced. The location is not bad for the airport but not great for tourist locations.

Good

Breakfast and any type of food is not included in room pricing. Food is good but expensive. They over free water, tea and coffee in the room.

When booking through booking.com they just reserved the room they took my money and never returned it and I had to pay cash at the hotel due to booking.com not sending the hotel the payment. Being in a foreign country I'm not able to call booking.com and they are requesting bank statements and everything else through email instead of them looking at their records and contacting the hotel to confirm we paid cash. The hotel also did not offer any help with contacting booking.com when we arrived to get the payment.

Couldn't meet my double-bed room request at the non-smoking area, and I was only offered a 2 single-beds one or double-bed at the smoking area with smelly corridor! (" I don't blame the hotel on that tho! ") Breakfast needs more enhancement and more added options. Besides, it would be very appreciated if the aliments would be kept before the breakfast time ends, not just 30 minutes earlier before that!!

Golden tulip el Mechtel it’s like home for me the Staff it’s like my family it’s merriment for me to stay at hotel as usual i want thank The general manager for Selection working crews and the Excellent service and I will think Mr Abd Razzaq for the Excellent hospitality like all time and thanks for all front office staff, I would also like to thank mme. Fayza for the excellent cooking. For these excellent services I will stay for several more days I think the hotel deserves more than five stars.

The hotel property was sufficient. The service was less comparable to expected standards. Housekeeping banged on doors every morning and woke up guests at 8am on the weekend for no discernible reason.

Old hotel with some renocations

The hotel felt old and grubby it looks like certain parts have had some renovations done but it is patchy and needs a lot more doing. The main hotel bar the Churchill pub was grubby full of heavy smoking old men felt like an airport smoking room. Hairs in the bed and on bathroom floor with a Room carpet that sticks to your feet when you walk around. I guess it is what you get for the price but definitely not like the golden tulip in gammarth area

The room itself is comfortable and clean.

The room itself is comfortable and clean. The cleaning stuff and restaurant stuff are sympathetic and polite. Only one front stuff at evening of the last day was also kind.

There were several points which made me disappointed. First, at 23 May morning, when I asked to exchange, the stuff mistook twice with counting money. After I pointed that, he gave the right amount of the money to me but he didn’t apologize seriously. It’s not professionally attitude and I couldn’t trust this hotel anymore. And then the front desk stuff at morning (before 0:00pm) is not friendly and not agreeable. For example I asked one of the stuff to catch the taxi at 24 May morning, he said me to ride the taxi inside parking of the hotel, in spite that there is no driver inside that taxi. Doormen are polite and nice but they should check the taxi driver use meters or not because some drivers tried to trick me by expensive fixed price and I gotta catch other one by myself. Finally, I don’t know whether it’s hotel’s fault or not, at 25 May morning, water stopped for about 30mins and after, water with mud were running. I was very shocked and tried changing the room but the stuff explained to me that every room had same problem at that moment so I decided to stay the same room. I wonder why there’s no officially notice to all the customers. It happens daily?? I felt I couldn’t use water safely here.

I don’t recommend this hotel to any one

The hotel furniture is very old. Bathroom towels are old and show dirt stains There is no iron in the room and you have to give the hotel your clothes for ironing Beds are old and expendable Water kettle is not cleaned and dirty. The wall painting in the room don in bad way look like in Kanpur camp than hotel . I changed two rooms because of the strong smell of smoking even in the rooms that are written not for smokers.

It was acceptable .

the breakfast is excellent-the reception officers are great and very professional and helpfull

Room service- the cleaning of the floor and the furniture inside the room is not good- the safe box did not work ( it was out pf battery) - in the middle of my stay, they were fixing the electricity near my room, and there was lots of noise i could not stand staying in the room.
